Professional Experience
CFO, Anchor Manufacturing Group
1995-2006
I was originally hired to produce accurate and timely financial reporting, which
I achieved in the first 60 days. As CFO, I led the team responsible for securing
and maintaining ISO certification and worked to streamline administrative, purchasing,
marketing and manufacturing functions to improve profitability. Finally, I helped identify a better way to sell in the automotive market that lowered sales costs and improved gross margin.
Vice-President of Finance, Mueller Electric Company
1981-1995
At Mueller, I was a key member of a team that introduced a new product
which doubled the company’s sales and significantly improved
profitability. I also renegotiated a critical bank loan with a
lower rate and dramatically reduced costs.
President, Connector Accessories, Inc.
1988-1995
(Wholly owned subsidiary of Mueller Electric)
From concept to implementation, I created this subsidiary of Mueller
Electric and established quoting, marketing, sales and manufacturing
functions. I doubled sales of this subsidiary within the first year and developed the company into a profitable entity with positive cash flow.
